About Coaching By choosing to work with a coach you will be
choosing to work in partnership with someone who is completely focused
on you, your aspirations and challenges, is trained in the skills of
questioning, listening and observation and who is 110% committed to
you and to the benefits and results that you wish to achieve. Your
coach will stand beside you and challenge and motivate you to achieve
your goals and live a life full of passion and purpose.
Coaching is based on the following principles;
- Coaching is non-judgemental, open, honest and completely
confidential;
- Your coach believes that you are a capable and resourceful
individual and that, as long as you are ready and willing to take
action, your potential is within your reach;
- You, as the client, are ultimately responsible for your life,
your actions and therefore your results. Taking responsibility for
the way in which you live your life empowers you to choose and to
shape your present and your future;
- Your coach will not give you advice or answers but rather
support and encourage you to gain a stronger self-awareness and
resourcefulness in responding to your dreams and challenges;
- Coaching is based on the equality between you and your coach.
Essentially it is a partnership, geared solely to you achieving what
you want whilst leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
Please note that coaching is not, and should not replace,
counselling or therapy. Counselling and therapy focus on issues in a
client’s past that require resolving in order for the client to be
able to move forward and other significant problems such as addictions
or trauma. Coaching, on the other hand, helps people who are ready and
willing to improve their lives and create desirable results from this
day forward. Coaching Services
One to One coaching typically takes place over the telephone or face
to face depending on what best suits our geographical proximity and
your needs.
Maximum benefit will be experienced from a series of 2 coaching
sessions per month over a period of 2 to 6 months. This will allow you
the time and space to fully explore the possibilities and clarify your
goals, and then to delve into your resourcefulness and take action to
achieve them. In between sessions, preparation or action tasks may be
requested in addition to those that you ask of yourself in order to
further your progress towards achieving a goal or to promote learning
and self-discovery.
Email support in between sessions is available should you have a
challenge or an achievement that you would like to share.
